Standardized Patient at the new CL and Rachel Werner Center
Addie joined a robust team of standardized patients ranging from veterans of 20+ years to brand new members of the medical humanities program at Creighton University who are part of the Creighton medical school training program. She previously worked in this capacity with Virginia Commonwealth University’s SP program but is delighted to return to the work as an actor/educator using these integrated skills helping budding healthcare professionals practice patient interaction. The new CL and Rachel Werner Center has several clinical exam rooms and single patient hospital rooms that provide the students with real-life scenarios that mirror patient encounters they will face in their professional lives.
