World Premiere STUCK WITH LEMONS at Shelterbelt Theater
Marie Amthor Schuett’s world premiere production of the 2019 O’Neill semi-finalist play Stuck with Lemons debuted Thursday, February 13th, 2025 as a co-production between Shelterbelt Theater and Great Plains Theatre Commons.
Stuck with Lemons marks the first production that Addie and her spouse George Dippold have performed together as onstage collaborators. Addie plays Jill, the new girlfriend to the youngest Lemon family member Brian, and also served as the production’s intimacy choreographer. Directed by Addie’s Creighton University colleague Dr. Amy Lane, she also has the privilege of sharing the stage with a Creighton graduate AJ Adhiambo and working with current CU student Jeannette Townsend who did the sound design. Set and lighting design by one of the first BA technical theatre graduates from Creighton Tim Combs, and props design by another Creighton alum Hannah Clark - a multi-hyphenate artist of many disciplines. The show runs through Sunday, March 2nd. No show on February 23rd.
